Mr. Christoph Kauter is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner and Board Member at Beyond Capital Partners. Over the last one-and-a-half decades, Mr. Kauter accumulated in-depth knowledge in the fields of Private Equity, M&A, Corporate Finance and Equity Capital Markets and was holding Executive Board positions at Private Equity firms from 2008 on. Mr. Kauter has ample transaction expertise, know-how in business development and an extensive network. Before founding Beyond Capital Partners, Mr. Kauter was a co-founder and Managing Partner of Trigon Equity Partners, a specialized situations investor focusing on the German Mittelstand. Over three-and-a-half years, he held comprehensive responsibility for the acquisition, financing and operational management of portfolio companies. Prior to this, Mr. Kauter was Chief Executive Officer of the two listed mid-market funds Themis Industries Group and Heliad Equity Partners, focusing on investments in the field of restructuring, buy-outs and successions as well as managing a well-diversified portfolio. He started his career in Private Equity as Managing Director for Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and Investor Relations at a leading German Private Equity real estate investor. In addition, Mr. Kauter gained seven years of experience in the field of Alternative Investing and Investment Banking, establishing the European power and emission derivative trading at Tradition and Man Financial respectively working at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London in Equity Capital Markets and M&A. Mr. Kauter holds a degree in Banking & Finance of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and is a certified Real Estate M&A Advisor of European Business School. He is a frequent speaker at leading business schools in Germany, author of several papers as well as an active member at the BVK, BRSI, and BAND, acting for more than ten years as Business Angel and founder of businesses. Besides a number of board of director positions at mid-market companies, Mr. Kauter also set up a Venture Capital fund at his university to support Startups of young students.
