In 2018, Duo was acquired by Cisco for $2.35 billion, making it one of the most successful security companies and the largest exit ever for a Michigan-based software company. He serves as Board Member at Grounspeed Analytics. Jon is a well-known security expert and researcher and his research interests span across the security domain, with deep expertise in mobile and cloud security and malware analysis. Jon was named to Forbes' "30 under 30" list for his Android security research. Jon attended the University of Michigan and holds a bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. in Computer Science.
