Prior to starting Automation Ventures, he was the CEO of Promly, a social media startup which he co-founded. Before Promly, Vishal launched an investment subscription service called DNA Investor, which helps individuals select disruptive technology securities in the public markets. Earlier in his career, Vishal worked as a securities analyst at Demeter Capital, a long-short, global macro and technology hedge fund based in South Florida. At the fund, he analyzed volatility futures and conducted Limited Partner outreach. Vishal began his career at age sixteen, when he started trading stocks and derivatives.
