Founded in 2009, MLTC Resource Development was the for-profit arm of the Meadow Lake Tribal Council. It was based in Meadow Lake, Canada. MLTC established RDI to contribute to the community wealth. To achieve that goal, it participates in joint ventures, limited partnerships and acquisitions that fit with strengths and sector focuses. The firm generated funds for new ventures through business investments, outside partnerships, government funding, private financing, debt financing and by leveraging assets and other currencies.
