Mr. Peter Platzer is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer, President & Board Member at Spire. He also is an Angel Investor. He served as a Board Member at Because Learning. He is a high-energy physicist who spent time at CERN prior to attending Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Originally from Austria, he is an avid HP-41 hacker and Arduino enthusiast. After 10+ years as a quantitative portfolio manager, he went to the International Space University, where he performed extensive research into the business ecosystem of nanosatellites, presenting his findings at several conferences and running a number of workshops. He holds an MBA in Investment Management from Harvard Business School. He also has an MS (Master of Science) in Physics from Technical University of Vienna.
