Mr. Sandy Rich is an Angel Investor. He serves as the Site Acquisition and IT Director at Calvert Crossland. Sandy's diverse background includes, most recently, day-to-day management and reporting for the portfolio of technology and telecommunications companies held by GRI Fund, L.P., a Baltimore-based private equity fund. Prior to GRI, Sandy worked for Crown Castle International's internal consultant team, a group responsible for bringing efficiency to all facets of the business; an excellent training ground. Sandy joined Crown Castle by way of the company's acquisition of 24/7 Mid-Atlantic Network, a regional dark fiber and data transport network. There, he was responsible for running marketing, supporting sales and project management, and overseeing internal IT strategy. Before joining 24/7, Sandy was living in Colorado where he was an early entrant into the area's tech startup scene, joining the co-founders of StatsMix to build the company within the 2010 Techstars accelerator program; the company was acquired by Copper.io in 2013. Sandy joined StatsMix from Greenspring Associates, a venture capital fund-of-funds that has invested in Techstars-related portfolio companies. There, Sandy was responsible for capital raising and investor relations. Sandy started his career at T. Rowe Price as a FINRA-licensed investment and portfolio allocation specialist. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
