Mr. Dana Wagner serves as Chief Legal Officer at Twilio. He served as Chief Legal Officer at Impossible Foods. He is an Angel Investor. From 2011 through 2016, he served as the General Counsel of Square Inc., where he built and led the legal, government relations, compliance, and security teams. While at Square, he played a central role in the company's design and launch of innovative financial products, its expansion into international markets, and its initial public offering. Before that, he led antitrust, competition, and consumer protection matters at Google from 2007 to 2011, and he held various positions in the U.S. Department of Justice from 2000 through 2007. He has taught and lectured at Harvard Law School, Stanford Law School, Berkeley Law, Northwestern University, U.C. Hastings College of the Law, and many other institutions on the topics of law, business, and technology. He received his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Comparative Literature from the University of California-Berkeley and his J.D. from Yale Law School.
