Mr. Umur Ozal is an Angel Investor. Umur has a diverse background in private equity, corporate finance and management consulting. As the founding partner of Valuta Capital Partners, Umur professionally manages a portfolio and advises on investment strategy, instruments, duration and distribution. He assumed executive positions in Stars of Europe pledge private equity fund and Oger Telecom. Prior to joining Oger Telecom, Umur was the country manager of Schmid Preissler Strategy Consultants GmbH, a management and strategy consulting firm. He also worked as country manager for Fieldstone Private Capital Group. Before returning to Turkey, Umur held various positions in BIDC and BBH & Co. During his career in investment banking, Umur participated in numerous project finance and M&A transactions from diverse sectors. Umur holds MS and BS degrees in manufacturing engineering from Boston University.
