Mr. Ari Pine is a Co-Founder of Digital Gamma. He has traded every asset class but especially options. He is an Angel Investor. A trained engineer, he focuses on process and applying technology. He managed the development of the options valuation, risk management, and trading software that his team used to run an integrated market-making book of gold options in both the futures and related ETF market. That led to his becoming one of the 10 largest gold options traders on CME. In addition to starting multiple (successful) trading ventures, he co-founded a startup for calculating the implied volatility for all US equity & index options, co-founded Global Gamma with Paul for exploring options trading opportunities in China, and has been an angel investor in numerous start-ups. Often, he is unable to keep his opinion to himself and has written numerous online pieces, as well as radio, video, and podcast appearances. He holds a BA in history from Wesleyan University and a BS in Computer Engineering from CalTech.
