Mr. Eric Hsia serves as Managing Director at TransLink Capital. He serves as Board Member at Sensifree Somnoware and AiFi. He also serves as Board Member at Opsys Technologies and Cooler Screens. He led TransLink's investments in Kamcord and Misfit and also supports TransLink's investment in HZO. Eric is a founder of Eternal Capital and a private investor, board member, and advisor to public and private technology companies. He was previously a founding partner of the SVB Capital China Councils Fund and the founding managing director of the SOFTBANK Asia Infrastructure Fund I (SAIF), a $404 million private equity fund launched by SOFTBANK Corporation in partnership with Cisco Systems in 2000. Eric has led investments in technology, media, and telecommunications companies in China, India, Korea, and the United States. Prior to SAIF, Eric was an associate partner with SOFTBANK Venture Capital focused on seed and early-stage communications services, e-commerce, and e-finance investments. Prior to joining SOFTBANK Venture Capital, he was a member of Merrill Lynch's Technology Investment Banking Group in 1994 and a consultant with The LEK/Alcar Consulting Group in Boston. Eric earned a B.A. in Economics from Harvard College in 1993.
