Dr. Israel Frieder serves as Chairman at iPLight. He also serves as Chairman/Director of several public and private companies, and investment committee. From 2005 to 2008 Mr. Frieder was the founder, Chairman & CEO of ITAC. From 2001 to 2004 Mr. Frieder served as the President & CEO of Kardan Communications and served as Chairman and Director of the portfolio companies such as RRsat, IVP, Teledata-Networks, SintecMedia, YES and Investment committee of Aviv VC. From 1996 to 2001 Mr. Frieder served at ECI Telecom. During 1996 to1999 Mr. Frieder served the President of ECI Telecom, DNI. During 1986 to 1996 Mr. Frieder served as the President of Tadiran Telecommunication, Network Systems. While at Tadiran, Mr. Frieder founded four companies, such as Motorola Tadiran Cellular (PelePhone), Tadiran Telecom (Kunming) Co. (Joint Venture), and TNN - Tadiran Newbridge Networks. Mr. Frieder also served as the President and CEO of Elisra Tadiran, Public Switching. Frieder received a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Technion, Haifa) and an MBA in Operational Research (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) with distinction. Mr Frieder received a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Business Administration (Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan).
