Mr. Patrick McVeigh serves as Independent Non-Executive Director & Chairman, Nominations Committee at NewSat Global Satellite Solutions. He served as Board Member at Bnocular and Fastacash. He has more than 30 years of experience in the high technology and consumer electronics industry working for companies like Apple Computer Inc., Knowledge Adventure, Palm Computing Inc., Aliph Corp., Palmsource, Omnisky and SoonR, Inc. As the CEO & President at Palmsource, he transformed the company from a developer of proprietary handset OS' to a leader in the development of Linux-based open source mobile operating systems. He later led the successful sale of Palmsource to Access Systems, Japan. Patrick also served as Chairman and CEO of Omnisky, where he successfully led the company through its IPO and eventual sale to EarthLink.
