Mr. Shoaib Makani is an Angel Investor. He serves as Advisor at Baton. Prior to joining Khosla Ventures, Mr. Makani was at AdMob where he focused on business development and sales in emerging international markets. He started and led the Latin America business for AdMob, establishing the company as the leading mobile advertising network in Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina. After setting up a team to manage local operations in Latin America, he shifted his attention to Asia-Pacific and India, helping to grow and localize the publisher network and expand AdMob's sales footprint in the region. Prior to joining AdMob, Mr. Makani was a Product Marketing Manager at Google, responsible for marketing and distribution of Google's suite of mobile products for consumers. He earned his BSc with Honors from The London School of Economics where he was active in the Entrepreneurship Society and student government.
