At Livingston, Mel's key responsibilities include the overall company strategy, business performance monitoring, key strategic relationships and management of the senior executive team. Holder of an MBA, M.Sc. and HNC Electrical Engineering, Mel was formerly the Non-Executive Chairman of the Marken Group (global pharmaceutical logistics), the Business Development Director of Ocean Group plc (worldwide logistics) and the Divisional Director Operations at both Dial Contracts (automotive leasing) and Thorn-EMI plc (electronic rental).
