Mr. Scott Gurfein serves as Principal at Product Equities. He is a Co-Founder of Socket Managed Services. Previously, he cofounded and served as Chairman at AllWork. Prior to that, he co-founded and served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Freeze 24/7 International. He started his career in traditional retail with May Department Stores and then shifted into the Internet space in its earliest days; co-founding the first online dining guide and then crafting digital marketing and advertising strategies for heavyweights CNN, Time Warner, Sony Pictures, Disney, Miramax, HBO, and others. In 2003, he acquired Freeze 24-7, the world's first over-the-counter Botox alternative. In 2006 he co-founded a provider of back-office, procurement, and financial services to consumer brands such as L'Oréal, Kate Somerville, REN Skincare, and dozens more. Leveraging his experience, he founded Brand Growth Management in 2008, a brand development and advisory firm to other established and emerging brands like Mama Mio Skincare, Hand Perfection, Cane+Austin, Carol's Daughter, Karin Herzog, and MD Solar Sciences. He is also an Angel Investor.
