Previously, he served as Managing Partner at Rocket Ventures. Past board positions include AboveNet, Clairvoyante, eBoomerang, Hipbone, Impli Media, Integrated Materials, MusicNow, and SmartDB. He is also deeply involved with the Tech Coast Angels and the Keiretsu Forum in Los Angeles. His past clients include the Capital Group, First Union Bank, Goldman Sachs, the London Stock Exchange, Microsoft, Nokia, Telecom Finland, Telecom Italia, and Time-Warner. Over a period of 10 years, he also advised the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Invest In Sweden Agency, the Small Business Administration, and the State of California on economic development activities as it relates to regional technology competencies.
