Tristan Ramus and James Caan (Chairman HCIG) have built a reputation as pioneering one of the UK's most successful recruitment platforms; Hamilton Bradshaw Human Capital Investment Group (HCIG), with a turnover of £323 million. Tristan spent 6 years working with the Federal Bank of the Middle East and then Bank of New York. In 1996 he joined Harrison Willis Group Plc, going through an MBO, followed by a full stock market flotation and then sold to TMP Worldwide. In 1999, Tristan led a management team and raised private equity to form The Trip Group of Companies which was sold via MBO in 2004. Between 2004 and 2006 Tristan was an angel investor with deals done in retail, publishing, leisure and technology before investing into the first Hamilton Bradshaw Private Equity fund of £20 million as well as setting up HCIG (Human Capital Investment Group).
