Citizens Capital was a private equity arm of Citizens Financial Group, that used to provide mezzanine and equity capital to later-stage privately held businesses in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. It used to invest in the consumer product companies, distributors and service companies. The firm was founded in 1997 and was headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
