Mr. Allan Boruchowicz serves as Board Member at Singularities. He is a Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Carao Ventures. He serves as a Board Member at Slidebean. He has more than 10 years of experience managing private equity investments and has worked and invested in startups in different stages for the last 6 years in Latin America and the US. He founded Carao Ventures in 2012 aiming to offer entrepreneurs in Latin America the same resources and opportunities that entrepreneurs in more developed markets have available to create and advance their startups. At Carao Ventures, he leads the investments in Slidebean, BildTEK, Speratum in which he is a mentor and Board Member of the companies. Also, he leads the acceleration program for GoPass, Huli, Aerial Robotixs, and Quenti on behalf of the firm. Before starting Carao Ventures, he worked for more than 5 years at Mesoamerica Investments, a consulting and private equity management firm in Latin America, at first from the Costa Rican office and afterward establishing operations of the firm in South America, with office overseeing the region based in Bogotá, Colombia. Prior to working in Mesoamerica, he worked for a year managing investments at UBS Wealth Management US. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of Banco BCT, BCT Puesto de Bolsa, and BCT SAFI. He has a B.Sc. degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College.
