Mr. Ethan Ayer serves as Chief Financial Officer at Cogility Software. He Co-Founded and served as Chairman at Resilient Network Systems. Mr. Ayer has been an IT, Internet and information security investor since 1998 when he joined his first venture capital firm. He joined Allegra Partners in 2000 as senior associate and was a partner at One Equity Partners and Milestone Venture Partners before joining Resilient first as an investor and later as CFO. He has served on the Boards of CyberTrust (sold to Verizon), Telwares, Worktopia.com and now Resilient. He started his career at Merrill Lynch & Co. in Structured Finance. He received a Masters Degree from Cambridge University and an A.B. from Harvard College.
