Mr. Robert Marshall serves as Co-Managing Director at Selby Ventures. He is also an angel investor. Marshall serves as Partner Emeritus in BlueVine Ventures. With over 40 years of experience in Silicon Valley, Mr. Marshall has acquired extensive startup, operations and investment experience in high technology companies. Prior to launching Selby, Mr. Marshall was Founder, President and CEO of InfoGear Technology, a leading Internet appliance company. InfoGear was acquired by Cisco Systems. In the 20 years preceding InfoGear until December 1995, Mr. Marshall was a senior executive at Tandem Computers and Diablo Systems. He was one of the co-founders of Tandem and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Tandem was purchased by Compaq for well over $3 Billion. Mr. Marshall currently serves on the board of directors of 3ware, Blue Pumpkin Software, Fabric7 Systems, OnSite Systems, Quicksilver Technology, Sierra Monitor Corporation and Triformix. Mr. Marshall holds a B.S.E.E. from Heald Engineering and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
